Slapstick Crime Farce!

With rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe and on tour around the UK, A Shoddy Detective and the Art of Deception brings you a laugh-a-minute, slide splitting blend of slapstick comedy, classic whodunnit tropes, and completely madcap mayhem! Four actors juggle more than a dozen characters, in a production which turns a classic country house mystery into a farce which has seen sellout runs and glowing reviews wherever it has played. Don't miss it!

What Is The Story?

When an extremely valuable piece of art mysteriously disappears during an auction, the severely out-of-his-depth Detective Stuart Pidcock is getting nowhere in trying to crack the case. Realizing he is completely stumped, the detective is forced into an unlikely truce with an old rival, to interrogate a number of absurd and eccentric suspects. A chaotic, slapstick farce of side-splitting proportions!
